Saturday, May 4, 2019 was Comcast Cares day at Irvington High School. 300 volunteers joined staff and students at Irvington High School to:
- create a Community Based Instruction Program classroom to teach life skills
- landscaped the front of the HS
- covered 26 blackboards in the classroom with whiteboard material to create new whiteboards
- transformed courtyard into flower and vegetable garden
- painted boy/girls rooms and placed inspirational quotes on the doors
