The Board of Education of the City of Irvington, New Jersey, hereby advertises for competitive proposals in accordance with
N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-21(a,b) for the School Year 2026-2027:
Security Cameras and Server Installation (Phase I), RFP 27-003

Proposals must be sealed, the envelope to bear the following information:

and delivered to the Business Office of the Irvington Board of Education on or before
Date: Friday, June 12, 2026
Time: 10:00 am
A pre-proposal conference will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 9:00 am. Further information is included in the RFP.
The RFP opening process will begin on the above date and time. No proposals shall be received after the time designated in the
advertisement. (N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-21(b).)
All proposals must be sealed and clearly marked on the outermost packaging or envelope with the name of respondent,
project name, RFP number, RFP opening date and time, and must be received by mail or other method of delivery by no
later than the submission deadline date and time. Respondents are encouraged to submit their proposals either by certified
mail or overnight delivery. Doing so will avoid the need for hand delivery and confirm the delivery date of the RFP response.
Respondents’ mailing proposals should allow sufficient mail delivery time to ensure the timely receipt of their proposal.
Nothing herein is intended to exclude any responsible firm or in any way restrain or restrict competition. All responsible firms
are encouraged to submit proposals.
All bidders/respondents to this proposal are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq., Affirmative
Action Against Discrimination and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et. seq.
The Board intends to enter into a contract with the successful vendor incorporating all provisions of the RFP. By submitting a
proposal, the bidder/respondent is agreeing to enter into such a contract if they are awarded the RFP.
Corporate bidders/respondents are required by law (Chapter 33, Laws of 1977) to submit a list of names and addresses of all
stockholders owning 10% or more of their stock.
A Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Contractor Questionnaire/Certification must also be filed with the RFP. The RFP package will
also include other documents that must be completed and returned with the RFP response. Failure to comply with Instructions to
Bidders and to complete and submit all required forms may be cause for disqualification and rejection of the RFP.
All bidders/respondents shall submit with their bid package a copy of the New Jersey Business Registration Certificate as issued
by the Department of Treasury of the State of New Jersey. (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44)
The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-2(s), (t), (x), (y),
18A:18A-4(a), 18A:18A-22, and to waive any informalities. The Board further reserves the right to take such alternates as they
deem appropriate, and in any order that the Board feels may be in the best interest of the Irvington Public School District.
