REGISTRATION REQUIUREMENTS

1. Create an account on https://ged.com
2. Register online at https://ged.com by selecting a test center, testing date & time along with which test you want to take.
3. All payments are handled through the WEBSITE ONLY.
4. For questions or concerns call the Test Center.

DISABLED STUDENTS

Disabled persons who want to take a Test may be entitled to receive reasonable testing accommodations. All requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and by submitting documentation to https://ged.com If approved, arrangements will be made to conduct the testing with the approved conditions.

$124 Full Test Fee
$10 to $30 per subject re-testing Fees
If eligible vouchers are offered to assist with payment for active (WFNJ) TANF, GA, SNAP, and WIOA customers
NO PREP CLASSES, NO REFERRALS

16 and 17 year old’s must bring a parent or guardian with them to provide documentation and they must be withdrawn from school

Forms of Identification
YOU MUST BRING AT LEAST TWO GOVERNMENT ISSUED IDs

  • Driver License: must have photograph, must be current and must display a person’s name, address, and signature.
  • State/County Issued Identification Card with photograph. Expired School IDs are not valid.
  • Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) Documents – Must be original, valid and must contain a photograph.
  • Military Identification with photograph.
  • Alien Registration Card with photograph.
  • Valid Passport with recent photograph. If Non-US issued, must be accompanied with proof of permanent NJ address, such as a utility bill, bank statement, cell phone, medical or credit card bill. Mail must be recent and from a business or government entity. Citizenship Papers with photograph.
  • Social Security Card (SSN), Social Insurance Card (SIN), Taxpayer ID Card (TID), Deferred Action Card (DAC), Social Security verification letter.
  • Foreign Passport with School IDs are usually invalid unless, they are current as in they were issued for the current school year or in the summer, the prior year.
  • State or Federal Program Issued ID cards (i.e., Job Corp, NJ Youth Challenge).

BETWEEN THE TWO ITEMS, IT MUST CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING:

Current Photo; Date of Birth; Current Address (to show NJ residency);
Signature; Identification number (SSN, SIN, TID, DAC, or SS Administration Verification letter).
