Anna B. At Anna B. Scott Junior STEAM Academy, students from across the Irvington Public Schools come together in a dynamic and innovative environment centered on science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics. Through interdisciplinary learning, project-based experiences, and collaborative problem-solving, scholars are encouraged to think critically, communicate effectively, and apply their knowledge to real-world challenges. Scholars who maintain a 3.0 grade point average or higher and consistently demonstrate solid academic proficiency by earning a score of 3 or above on the NJSLA during their middle school years will receive acceptance into our STEAM high school, Rita L. Owens STEAM Academy. This pathway reflects our commitment to recognizing sustained effort, growth, and readiness for advanced academic opportunities. Providing a direct connection to a specialized STEAM high school is important because it ensures continuity in rigorous instruction, expands access to advanced coursework and career pathways, and motivates scholars to remain focused on long-term academic goals.
