Parent Teacher Association
The Union Avenue Middle School Parent-Teacher-Association (PTA) exists to improve the educational experiences of our students, to support UAMS programs and staff, and to promote communication among the different segments of our school community. Staff is strongly encouraged to help the PTA attain its goals by joining the association, attending meetings, and participating in PTA events. Listed below are the PTA meeting dates for the 2018-2019 school year. All meetings are held at 5:45 p.m. in the library.

School Leadership Committee
The SLC committee exists to improve the educational experiences for our students by monitoring, evaluating, and revising the School Improvement Plan. The SLC committee meets monthly at 3:00 p.m. before the scheduled PTA meeting.

PTA meetings are held every third Tuesday of the month. In the event that the school district is closed, the meetings will then be held the following Tuesday. All meetings will be held in the community room from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Please be advised that meetings may be cancelled or postponed in the event of inclement weather.

Meetings are held on the 1st Monday of every month except when there is a holiday then the meeting is held on the 2nd Monday of the month. Meeting time: 6:00-7:00 pm in IHS Auditorium. Please be advised that meetings may be cancelled or postponed in the event of inclement weather.
