What's New?

Open Enrollment for 2019

Dates – October 29, 2018 through November 30, 2018

What is Open Enrollment?

Annual period when employees may make changes to their health and dental plans, add or remove eligible dependents and enroll in the health flexible spending plan (FSA) for 2019.The current health and dental plan elections will continue “as is” through 2019.  No action is needed to continue same plans.The current health and prescription drug plan waiver also continues through 2019.  The payment amounts for 2019 are $1,500 for employee only coverage and $3,000 for employee and dependent coverage.Annual enrollment in the health FSA is required.  If an employee had the FSA in 2018, this plan does not automatically continue.

What’s New?

There are no changes to the health or dental plan benefits.

What’s needed for medical and dental plan changes?

  • Completed Aetna health and/or Delta Dental enrollment forms must be submitted to HR
  • Supporting documentation is required to add dependents (birth certificate for children, marriage certificate for spouse)
  • Waiving health and prescription for the first time requires a copy of current health insurance identification card

What’s needed for FSA enrollment?

  • Completed Benefit Express FSA enrollment form with annual election amount, up to $2,500
  • No direct deposit information will be accepted now
  • Please use the Benefit Express website to set up your direct deposit if desired

What’s the deadline for all forms?

All enrollment forms, and supporting documentation if necessary, must be received by the Department of Human Resources by the close of business on Friday, November 30, 2018.
