State Testing Resources

The 2019-20 Assessment will now be called-NJSLA (New Jersey Student Learning Assessments) previously known as PARCC. The online platform will remain the same and the test questions will be reduced for ELA and math.  ELA is reduced from three to two units resulting in a reduction of 75 minutes for grade 3, and 90 minutes for grades 4-high school. Mathematics in grades 3-5 is reduced from four to three units resulting in a reduction of 60 minutes of testing time. In grades 6-8 the number of units remains at three, but the time allotted for each 80-minute unit will be reduced by 20 minutes for a total of 60 minutes. Similarly, the Algebra I end-of-course test will be reduced from three units to two units of 90 minutes each, for a total reduction of 90 minutes of testing time.
