Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year at Augusta Preschool Academy!

I am thrilled to introduce myself as your newly appointed principal, and I am truly excited to join the Augusta community. It is my pleasure to welcome you and your family as we embark on this educational journey together. I am eager to establish strong connections with you, and I am committed to working alongside you to ensure the best possible experience for your child.

Our entire staff is dedicated to supporting your child as they begin their journey toward becoming lifelong learners. We firmly believe that a collaborative school community is essential to fostering the academic and social-emotional success of all students. Our goal is to provide each student with a solid academic foundation while nurturing a love for learning.

At Augusta, our mission is to lay the groundwork for academic success in our young scholars. We strive to create an instructional program that accelerates learning for all students, builds on each child’s unique strengths and interests, and actively involves them in every step of the learning process. We are committed to documenting students’ growth and development through authentic assessments and providing child-initiated learning experiences that promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth.

We are incredibly proud of our dedicated teachers and support staff. Every one of our teachers is certified in early childhood education, and we take pride in being an inclusive school that meets the individual needs of all learners. Our program includes general early childhood education, bilingual education (Spanish and French-Creole), and special education inclusion classes. This year, we will continue to focus on the social and emotional well-being of our students, working together to create an environment where every child can thrive.

The early learning years are crucial in laying the foundation for lifelong educational success. We are committed to building a supportive and dynamic community that meets the needs of each learner and challenges every student to grow at their own optimal pace.

Parent involvement is a key component of our program’s success. We offer a variety of parent-child activities, PTA membership opportunities, and monthly informative parent workshops. We strongly encourage you to get involved by joining the PTA, as this partnership strengthens our school community and enhances our collaborative efforts to ensure your child’s success.

Educating our scholars is truly a TEAM effort. As we continue our academic journey together, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of our students, parents, staff, and community members for their dedication and hard work.
