Attendance

Use Record Meeting Attendance to take attendance by class meeting. A class meeting is the span of time a class takes place within a given day.

First, login to PowerTeacher. Then, proceed with the following steps:

1. Click on the picture of the chair next to the class section for which you wish to take attendance. (Note: If the chair appears translucent, it means that that class section is not in attendance for the current day.)

2. After clicking the chair, it will load the "Record Meeting Attendance" Screen.
Select the Attendance Code you wish to set in the "Current Attendance Code" Drop down list.

3. Click in the empty box next to the student(s) for whom you need to set this particular attendance code. The code will appear in the box for that student. Repeat the process for the remaining students who must have this particular code set.

4. If you need to set a different Attendance Code for other students, repeat steps 3 and 4 as needed.

5.  When finished, click the Submit button.

6. For added security, click "Logout" at the top right-hand corner of the page, if you are going to leave your workstation.
