Holiday Message from the Superintendent
Dear Staff, Parents and Students,
Happy Holidays! Seasons Greetings! As we enter this special time of year there is a spirit in the air of joy and sharing. Clearly, a festive merriment appears to be prevalent. Children bring us a special joy during this season as we share meals, gifts, and more time with them. As we enter this holiday season remember the tremendous impact that we have on our children and students. Taking an extra fifteen minutes to read a story at night or discussing what happened at school can make a big difference. Asking a student how his/her day is going can also make a big difference to a child. This surely demonstrates interest and support in that student’s schooling.
We are so fortunate to have a school district for which we can be proud of with students, teachers, staff, families and the community coming together to support our mission of academic achievement. As we end the 2010 year, and begin 2011 we continue to commit ourselves to providing the very best educational experience possible. Don’t forget that our focus is on continuous improvement of academic achievement. We welcome your support in helping us to reach this worthwhile goal.
Finally, I invite you to attend the holiday programs throughout the district and enjoy the talents of our children during the performances. Your support at these events shows the students your commitment to education and family. As always, I appreciate the opportunity to be the superintendent of such a fine school district.
Best wishes to you and your family for a very healthy holiday and a prosperous New Year!
